Privacy notice

How LFC London uses the personal details you give us when you apply for match tickets and travel.

Version 2026-10-20.

Who we are

LFC London, the London branch of Liverpool FC supporters, decides how your details are used. You can contact us at membership@lfclondon.co.uk.

What we collect

When you apply for a game we collect:

  • your first and last name
  • your LFC membership number
  • your telephone number and email address
  • the tickets and travel you choose, and the prices at the time you applied
  • the status of your application and payment, including PayPal's references for your payment

We never see or store your card or bank details: PayPal handles the payment. We keep a record of who in the branch changed your application and when.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To handle your application, check it against our member records, contact you about it and take your payment. We do this because you've asked us to (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep financial records of payments, because the law requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To protect the form from automated abuse, using Cloudflare Turnstile, and to keep the service secure. This is in our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

The newsletter sign-up on our home page is run by Brevo and asks for your consent separately. Applying for a game doesn't sign you up.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run this site for us: our web and database host, Brevo (which sends our emails), PayPal (which takes payments) and Cloudflare (which runs the check that you're not a robot). We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else, including Liverpool FC.

How long we keep it

  • Applications and member records: 6 years after your last activity with us, because they include financial records.
  • Declined or expired applications: your personal details are removed after 24 months.
  • Technical logs: up to 30 days. They don't contain your name, email, phone or membership number.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. We keep the financial part of a payment record (amount, date and PayPal references) for as long as the law requires. You can also object to how we use your details or ask us to restrict it.

To make a request, email membership@lfclondon.co.uk. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
